POSITION: MILLWRIGHT/FIELD SUPERINTENDENT
Overview: Seeking an experienced Millwright/Field Superintendent for heavy rigging and millwright work for NE and surrounding states. Candidate will have a minimum 5 years experience managing crews, directing work, reading blueprints, maintaining schedules and coordinating efforts with clients. Candidate must also be open to travel. Drug screen and background check required. Safe work history.

Functional Job Responsibilities: • Provide leadership support for safety and accident prevention. • Implement safety procedures, subcontractor safety meetings and site inspections. • Monitor performance and productivity for the Mechanical Equipment installation work. Ensure adequate levels of Supervision. • Integrate with all disciplines to ensure work is carried out safely and correctly and that the craftsmen have the correct certification and competency level. • Produce weekly reports for the General Superintendent. • Oversee jobsite operations and maintain safety compliance. • Monitor project schedules, staffing charts, material availability and equipment requirements. • Monitor project plans and specifications for constructability, conformance to regulatory agency requirements and productivity improvement. • Provide technical direction and guidance to staff involved in the development and application of innovative and unique construction theories and methodologies required by multiple and/or complex projects. • Log delays and mitigate causes. • Review handover / punch lists, carryover works, shipped loose items and disconnects proposed from the module yards. • Review the work-scope documentation received from the fabrication yards. • Advise the project team and General Superintendent of work status, issues, impacts, risk, and cost influence factors on the remaining-to-go scope. • Ensure Mechanical Equipment installation work is complete, aligned and leveled prior to punching and handing over to the commissioning team with an emphasis on documentation and quality.
Requirements: • Experience within the Construction industry. • Experience in Mechanical Equipment installation, including conveyors, catwalks, large pumps, rotating equipment etc., this experience is to include preservation and maintenance requirements. • Demonstrate ability to work with multidiscipline field supervision and contractors; accountable for the successful implementation of the project's construction philosophy and completions program. • Good understanding and able to read Engineering drawings, layout drawings/vendor drawings. • Strong understanding in construction means and methods on projects within the grain storage/grain handling industry. • Advanced knowledge of major equipment installations, Quality Control documentation, vendor support services and hand over requirements. • Knowledgeable with Agriculture Industry construction methods and procedures. • Proven record of consistently Meeting Quality, Construction and Schedule goals. • Strong track record for delivering project requirements on time with zero safety incidents and accidents. • Must understand modern construction methods and requirements to complete site works in safe manner that compiles with the applicable state standards.

Overview: Seeking an experienced Millwright/Field Helper for heavy rigging and millwright work for NE and surrounding states. The Candidate will report directly to the Millwright Superintendent. The Candidate will have a minimum 2-4 years experience being part of a millwright crew, millwright assembly, performing assigned work, reading blueprints, fulfilling scheduled job needs as assigned by the Millwright Superintendent in charge. Candidate must also be open to travel. Drug screen and background check required. Safe work history.

Requirements: • High School Diploma • Good mobility for walking and ability to lift and carry objects and be prone to loud noise. • Must have experience with Industrial Welding, Pipe Fitting, Threading and a Fabrication Background • Needs to be able to understand written and verbal communication in English. • Must have reliable transportation (not on bus route). • Ability to successfully pass criminal background checks, physical and drug screening processes and any other requirements by the company. • Experience within the Construction industry. • Experience in Mechanical Equipment installation, including conveyors, catwalks, large pumps, rotating equipment etc., this experience is to include preservation and maintenance requirements. • Able to read Engineering drawings, layout drawings/vendor drawings and follow direction from Millwright Superintendent. • Strong understanding in construction means and methods on projects within the grain storage/grain handling industry a plus. • Strong track record for delivering personal work project requirements on time with zero safety incidents and accidents. • Ability to learn, then understand modern construction methods and requirements to complete site works in safe manner that complies with the applicable state standards.
