POSITION: CONCRETE LABORER/REBAR TIERS:

The successful candidates will answer to the Concrete Superintendent and be responsible for following the plan/direction of all field activities on concrete construction projects and meeting expectations of each job as set by the General Superintendent's scope of work/time frame. We provide complete construction solutions and our goal is to consistently provide superior customer service, quality craftsmanship, and total project satisfaction on each and every job. OVERVIEW: ROLE OF CONCRETE LABORER: Work of this class involves building, setting and aligning concrete forms, placing wire mesh and concrete and applying fine concrete finishing methods in new construction and building of concrete walls, foundations and floors related to concrete structures. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and reading survey stakes to establish grade and estimating volume of concrete required for specific jobs. Incumbents instruct and direct a small group of laborers engaged in mixing and placing concrete, as required, particularly on larger jobs. Assignments, written or given verbally, are mainly repetitive and routine in nature with adherence to established methods and procedures, and work is frequently inspected. There is limited opportunity, however, for minor independent decision making, particularly once experience is acquired. Incumbents generally work under the immediate supervision of a foreman. CONCRETE LABORER QUALIFICATIONS: • 1-2 years as a laborer within the concrete construction industry • Good communication skills • Ability to work as a team is a must requirement • Strong work ethic with attention to detail is required • Previous experience with concrete forms and custom fabrication a plus • Must be able to pass drug test & background check • Must have own personal transportation to and from work • Out of town travel will be required • OSHA certification required CONCRETE LABORER RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ability to follow defined team and project goals • Communicates obstacles and opportunities; leverage personal knowledge to the benefit of the project • Ability to utilize active & attentive listening • Ensure personal performance requirements are met as set by the General Superintendent • Ability to follow and meet all requirements of the job while following all federal, local, and site safety requirements CONCRETE LABORER COMPENSTATION: • A competitive base salary & comprehensive benefits package • Per Diem • Health Insurance after 60 days If you are applying, please carefully review the requirements and ensure your resume accurately reflects your qualifications in relation to this position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, coordinating and directing of the field activities on concrete construction projects. We provide complete construction solutions and our goal is to consistently provide superior customer service, quality craftsmanship, and total project satisfaction on each and every job.
